Lauren Lo Sung (GB)

bio

Liverpool’s Lauren Lo Sung is all about the groove. Whether she’s heading up the A&R on her vinyl-focused label LOLiFE Records or curating the next LOLiFE club night, the producer, DJ, and label boss leans into groovy, dancefloor-driven sounds laced with a sultry feel, where connecting with her audience is of top priority.

Since starting out as a DJ over a decade ago in Manchester and Liverpool, Lauren has evolved into an internationally recognised artist. At 18, she launched her party LOLiFE and later broke through globally when she warmed up for Carl Cox during the final season of his series ‘Music is Revolution’ in Space, Ibiza, in 2016. Her profile has since ascended with gigs in Crobar (Argentina), Watergate (Berlin), Glastonbury, fabric, The Warehouse Project, DC-10, Hï, Space Miami, and many more celebrated clubs and festivals worldwide.

Influenced by the UK’s 90s rave scene cultivated in seminal clubs like The Haçienda and Cream, Lauren’s versatile collection delves into groovy house, summery garage and shadowy dub. But she’s not afraid to throw in a classic, lifting the crowd at just the right moment. As a producer, Lauren focuses on finding the groove and dabbles in everything from big room hooks to more B-side-appropriate, underground sounds. Releases on PIV, Shall Not Fade, Locus, and her own imprints, LOLiFE Records and e1even records, feature in her discography.

Running two record labels and one event series between managing a tour schedule spanning Europe, the Americas and Australia, Lauren Lo Sung’s endless enthusiasm for DJing, producing and enriching Liverpool’s dance music circuit is why she’s one of the UK’s most consistent and widely respected artists.
