This Sunday, October 31 and Monday, November 1, iconic Belfast duo BICEP will take over the Élysée Montmartre to perform their new live show alongside rising French live star Fasme.
Built around their self-titled debut album, released on Ninja Tune to great acclaim in 2017, their previous tour sold out. Praised in the top 20 of the UK charts, the famous Mixmag magazine even voted it album of the year, with tracks that have since become anthems: “Glue”, “Rain” and “Vale”, including a remix of “Opal” by the iconic producer Four Tet.
In just 10 years, the duo formed by Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson, from their blog Feel My Bicep, has come a long way. After the release of their latest album Isles in January 2021 – which followed their previous album released on Ninja Tune in 2017, the duo will be back in Paris for two unique dates at the Elysée Montmartre on October 31 and November 1.
As an opening act, one of the rising star of French live music Fasme will deliver a unique performance between electro, acid, braindance and synthwave. For a few years, his powerful live with melodies both rhythmic and melancholic has conquered the French scene, but also Bicep, who will release his next EP ‘Home’ on their label Feel My Bicep this October 28.
